English Section is one section that gets mixed responses from candidates depending upon their educational background and preparation level. For some, this is an easy task but for others, this section becomes a nightmare and biggest hurdle in getting a good score in the exam.
I would like to say that English section is tough for those who have passed their Intermediate in Hindi Medium, but guys even I am from the same, but you Firm Decision can change things.
English is not something you can expect to master in a day. But from an exam point of view, if you spend time consistently, you can perform well in it in relatively less time as compared to Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning sections. This section acquires more importance because it is the only section which can be attempted quickly i.e. in 20-25 minutesand at the same time, decent marks can be scored in this section if prepared well. The number of questions from each topic and their difficulty level has remained similar over the years. As you know this subject contains 50 questions –

(iv) As you locate each error, eliminate all of the choices that contain that error
(v) Do not read each answer choice back into the sentence individually; that wastes time and invites inaccuracy.
(vi) Instead, identify the differences among the choices and eliminate those that offer less effective or grammatically incorrect alternatives.
